The Association’s mission is to promote a human services system  that encourages self-sufficiency of families and communities, and protects  vulnerable children and adults from abuse and neglect.

                     EveryChild California represents comprehensive  approach to early childhood education and learning. It advocates for publicly  funded early care and education programs across the state, by supporting the  development of the child's social, emotional and intellectual well being, all  while in a safe and high quality learning environment.

                  National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) – The 
                  
                     National  Association for the Education of Young Children exists for the purpose of  leading and consolidating the efforts of individuals and groups working to  achieve healthy development and constructive education for all young children.

                  Palo Alto Advisory Committee on Early Care and Education (PAACECE) – PAACECE is an  advisory committee to the City of Palo Alto on issues related to child care  (ages 0-12) and early learning. PAACECE has three main goals: 
                  Connect providers and educators in the early education community, 
                  support early  education programs, and 
                  advocate on behalf of families and teachers of  young children to raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing  early education programs today.

                     California  Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) –  Through regional communities of practice (CP) and series of professional  learning experiences, the California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN)  provides high-quality professional learning for preschool and transitional  kindergarten (TK) administrators and teachers that highlights current  research-based information, resources, and effective instructional practices  which are focused on preparing children to flourish in early childhood and  succeed in elementary school and beyond.

                     Community  Care Licensing Division licenses and monitors  Family Child Care Homes and Child Care Centers in an effort to ensure that they  provide a safe and healthy environment for children in day care.

                  Office of Child Care – The 
                  
                     Office  of Child Care is part of the U.S.  Department of Health & Human Services. The Child Care Bureau is dedicated  to enhancing the quality, affordability, and availability of child care for all  families. The Office of Child Care administers federal funds to states,  territories, and tribes to assist low-income families in accessing quality  child care for children when the parents work or participate in education or  training.

                  Office of Head Start – The 
                  
                     Office  of Head Start is part of the U.S.  Department of Health & Human Services. Head Start and Early Head Start are  comprehensive child development programs that serve children from birth to age  5 and their families. They are child-focused programs and have the overall goal  of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.

                  SCCOE  Child Care Resource & Referral Program – The º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Office of Education serves as the  Child Care Resource and Referral Program (R&R) for º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø. The  function of the R&R is to provide every family and provider with what they  need to be successful by implementing the SCCOE’s core values of equity,  diversity, inclusion, and partnership. The Resource and Referral Program  provides the following: child care resources for families and providers,  information and resources for families, and training and technical assistance  for providers.
