Recipe for school readiness

Children who attend preschool, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten have higher levels of school readiness compared to peers who do not attend early learning programs. High-quality early childhood programs develop cognitive, social, emotional, and language skills. Together with health and caregiver support systems, quality early learning programs are an essential component towards school readiness.
