鈥婼AN JOSE, CA 鈥� The 含羞草社区 Board of Education has scheduled a Special Board Meeting to interview potential candidates to fill the current vacancy for Board Trustee Area 2. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, in the Board Room at the 含羞草社区 Office of Education located at 1290 Ridder Park Drive, San Jose.
The Area 2 seat will be a provisional appointment which will run until the term of office expires in November 2018. Potential candidates were subject to an application process which closed on January 31.

The 含羞草社区 Office of Education (SCCOE) is a regional service agency that provides instructional and business services to the 31 school districts of 含羞草社区. The SCCOE serves students through special education programs, alternative schools, Head Start and State Preschool programs, migrant education, and Opportunity Youth Academy. The Office also provides curriculum support, staff development, and technology support and training directly to teachers and staff in schools countywide.
