The Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) program at SCCOE is designed to support new school administrators in refining their leadership skills and advancing their professional practice.

This two-year, job-embedded program provides a combination of individualized coaching, reflective practice, and professional development aligned with the California Professional Standards for Education Leaders (CPSEL)鈥�.

Through the CASC Program, you鈥檒l have the opportunity to strengthen your leadership capabilities while gaining the experience and guidance necessary to meet the challenges of school administration and achieve long-term success in your educational career.

Program Key Features

Individualized Coaching: Each participant is paired with a highly qualified coach who provides personalized support, feedback, and guidance. Coaches meet regularly with participants to help them reflect on their leadership practice, set goals, and navigate real-world challenges in school administration.
Job-Embedded Learning: The CASC Program integrates on-the-job experiences, allowing participants to apply theory to practice in their current administrative roles. You will develop and implement leadership strategies in a real-world context, promoting school improvement and organizational growth.
Professional Development: Participants engage in targeted professional learning opportunities that align with CPSEL standards. Workshops, seminars, and collaborative learning experiences help you deepen your knowledge and refine your leadership skills.
鈥� Reflective Practice: Throughout the program, participants are 鈥媏ncouraged to engage in continuous reflection on their leadership practice. This reflection is facilitated through regular check-ins with coaches, self-assessments, and goal-setting activities.鈥嬧赌嬧€�

Cohorts and Schedule

Program Structure:

Duration: 2 years. The program 鈥媠tarts in the Fall and Spring.
Format: j鈥媜b鈥�-embedded, with in-person and virtual components
Coaching: ongoing, with at least 40 hours of one-on-one coaching per year

Program Cost: $8,500 ($4,250 per year), payable in quarterly installments.
