College Month Mission: Through engaging events, real-world insights, and access to local colleges, employers, and resources, you’ll walk away with greater confidence, clarity, and support to take your next step—wherever your path leads.â¶Ä‹
College and Career Month is an annual initiative of the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Office of Education, a joint effort with the Community Colleges in º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø, Four-Year Colleges in the Bay Area, and our dedicated community-based organizations to bring awareness of the vast options students have to pursue after grade 12. We emphasize sustainable careers that will enable our students to secure jobs in high-need sectors with longevity to provide security for our current and future º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø citizens.
As the adults, it is our responsibility to educate our students of their potential career or college pathway options and provide the most up-to-date information to best inform their decisions.
Data from California Department of Education (Data Quest) for the School Year 2021-22 shows that 18,591 students from the County of Santa Clara (Public Schools) enrolled in college.
