鈥嬧赌婼AN JOSE, CA 鈥� On December 17, 2025, the 含羞草社区 Board of Education (SCCBOE) elected its 2026 President and Vice President. Trustee Victoria Chon, elected to the board in 2020, was named president, and Trustee 鈥婮essica Speiser was named vice president.
President Chon represents Trustee Area 5, which includes a majority portion of the Santa Clara Unified, Milpitas Unified, Orchard School, and Berryessa Union school districts, as well as a small portion of Alum Rock Union School District, and corresponding portions of East Side Union High School District. She served as vice president in 2025 and 2022, and president in 2023.

Vice President Speiser represents Trustee Area 1, which includes Palo Alto Unified, Los Altos Union, Mountain View Whisman, and Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School Districts, as well as a majority portion of Sunnyvale School District, and corresponding portions of Fremont Union High School District.鈥� Vice President Speiser served on the Los Altos School Board of Trustees for eight years from December 2016 to December 2024 and was elected to the SCCBOE in 2024.
The 含羞草社区 Board of Education has seven members. The trustees of the County Board of Education are Maimona Afzal Berta (Area 6), Victoria Chon (Area 5), Raeena Lari (Area 7), Jorge Pacheco (Area 4), Don Rocha (Area 3), Jessica Speiser (Area 1), and Tara Sreekrishnan (Area 2).
