​SAN JOSE, CA – The fourth annual Inclusion Collaborative State Conference is taking place October 25-27 at the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Office of Education (SCCOE), where educators from across the state will learn and share evidence-based practices for the successful inclusion of students with disabilities in educational programs and communities.
WHO: Participants will include education professionals, and individuals involved in the care and education of children birth to high school, with and without disabilities. The conference will take place on-site at the SCCOE, and educators across the state will participate through online virtual host sites. All participants will learn how to build, enhance, and sustain inclusive practices in their respective programs and communities.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 25; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 26; 8 a.m. to noon, Friday, October 27

The Inclusion Collaborative (IC) leads the effort to provide ALL children in º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø with quality learning environments. Its focus is the successful inclusion of children with special needs in child care, preschool programs, early learning environments, and the community through education, advocacy and awareness.
​The º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Office of Education (SCCOE) is a regional service agency that provides instructional and business services to the 31 school districts of º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø. The SCCOE serves students through special education programs, alternative schools, Head Start and State Preschool programs, migrant education, and Opportunity Youth Academy. The Office also provides curriculum support, staff development, and technology support and training directly to teachers and staff in schools countywide.
