Jessica Speiser was elected to the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Board of Education in 2024. Prior to joining the SCCBOE, she served on the Los Altos School Board of Trustees for eight years, serving as Board President in 2019 and 2023. Jessica has also been involved in the leadership of the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø School Boards Association, serving as its President in 2023-24.
Jessica is a dedicated proponent of public schools. She attributes her professional and personal successes (having graduated with a Bachelors from Wellesley College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from UC Law San Francisco) to the strong public school education she received and to the teachers and staff that made that happen.
