Page Content: What We Do ArtsEdConnect is a web-enabled “marketplace” for Silicon Valley teachers to access local arts education opportunities through a qualitative matchmaking process. In partnership with SVCreates, we award mini-grants to teachers who are “shopping” for creative opportunities for their students. The ArtsEdConnect partnership of the ��߲�� Office of Education and SVCreates is pleased to announce Arts Education grants through the generosity of the County of Santa Clara and the Warmenhoven Family Foundation. Who We Serve The ArtsEdConnect program awards grants to teachers and classrooms in ��߲�� to support and encourage arts education in our schools. What’s Next A new grant cycle will open in Fall 2022. See the dates below. This year we have three options. A teacher may opt to apply for ONE of these grants (one grant per teacher): a $500 grant that can be used for art materials, a $750 grant for an artist in residency program or funds (amount specific to project/experience) for an art project, performances, workshops, field trips or art experiences. Each grant is for a single classroom however teachers can also apply together for a joint art experience. So get your creative juices flowing for an art project or activity that will engage and inspire your students. Please fill out one of the short applications in the links below to request funds. The grant applications will be released on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 and close on Friday, October 7, 2022. Grants must be expended by Friday, May 12, 2023 with final reports due no later than Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
